McLaren rebuilt almost everything here: a new carbon architecture, a 120-degree V6 and an electric motor living inside the gearbox. It weighs less than most of its hybrid rivals and retains hydraulic steering, which you will notice inside the first kilometre.
Flux Green is a brave colour, and the right one. Bought new by a collector who kept it on a trickle charger and drove it on weekends only. It can cover around 30 km in silence, which neighbours appreciate.
